Hodge Hill’s own becomes Spectator
‘Minister to Watch’ |
Liam has today been named the Spectator magazine’s ‘Minister to Watch’ at their annual Parliamentarian of the Year awards in London.
The award follows news that Liam has recently been reselected as the Labour candidate in Hodge Hill for the next general election with dramatic support from his local party.

Byrne launches Hodge Hill Christmas card competition |
Liam Byrne MP has today invited every child in Hodge Hill of primary school age to send him their designs for his 2007 Christmas card.
The Hodge Hill MP will present the successful entrant with their winning Christmas card and a gift voucher in a visit to their school. Every participant who enters will receive a certificate. The winning design will be professionally printed and show the winner's name and school and will be sent across the constituency as well as to friends and colleagues nationwide – including government ministers.
